For ENDO 2016, we introduced the ability for attendees to earn Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) by attending specific tracks. This year, attendees can earn more MOC points for attending any session at ENDO. By attending ENDO 2017, you are eligible to earn a maximum of 30.5 ABIM Medical Knowledge MOC points. ABP diplomates can earn 20 ABP Part 2 MOC points. As with Continuing Medical Education points, learners should then record the points they wish to claim by evaluating the meeting through the ENDO 2017 evaluation at education.endocrine.org.
“ENDO provides a wealth of education and our attendees are self-assessing their knowledge throughout the conference, which is why we are able to expand MOC beyond specific sessions. We are committed to making the process easier for our attendees to fulfill their board requirements,” said Whitney Goldner, MD, chair of the Clinical Endocrine Education Committee.
